are from  her  choreography for  'Nruthyamalika'   book  containg  songs for Bharatha natyam

        Graduate  of  KALAKSHETHRA, Chennai.

         Master  of  Fine Arts (M.F.A) ,Bharathidhasan University, Tiruchirappalli .

         She has performed  in many prestigious Sabhas both in India and abroad.

               She is an approves 'B' grade  artist of Doordharshan Kendra(TV Centre) Chennai.

        She  has passed  Higher Grade Government technical examination in Indian Music -Bharathanatyam -

         held   by Tamil Isai Sangam in 2003. 

                She has performed  in Natyanjali functions at Chidhambaram, India in 2001 and 2004.

         Nandhini Ramani, Columnist,' The Hindu' about her performance  in Natyanjali 2001:-"The talented 

         dancer, Shobhinya, coould bring about a note of sprituality, a basic aim of  this traditional art form.  

          She presented a neat alarippu, two padams and a Hindolam Thillana. Shobhinya's calm and tranquil 

           approach and precise footwork deserve mention."
